Achieve Your Goals
Greetings, I am Nizammah Ward, LMHC at your service. Do you find it difficult to ask for help? Asking for assistance doesn't equate to weakness, it's actually a strength! I pride myself on encouraging my clients to see and be the strength that is already within them. I use an integrative approach with individuals I serve in that each individual is unique and processes thoughts differently. Mindfulness based cognitive behavioral therapy allows clients to find peace within themselves through grounding. This heightened awareness of self enables individuals to live in accordance with their values even in the face of opposition. In addition motivational interviewing is used to ensure the counselor client relationship is based on the elements that the client would like to address.
